When your water comes from a spring far into the forest, no water in the house means an expedition. Here are some pictures from last Thursday.
- Poor water flow in our storage tank means a leak or plug between the tank and the spring, quite a distance away.
- Heading up the trail-less ascent to the spring with some pretty big wrenches.
- Ricco stops for a swim.
- The suspected problem area .
- Starting the wrench work.
- Almost apart but poor flow here means the problems further up. Off to the spring box close by.
- Spring Box.
- The inside of the spring box. High water.
- We pulled this root mass and a bunch of gravel out of the spring box outflow.
- This is what the spring box should look like.
- …and this is what the storage tank inflow should look like. Water pressure should be normal in a day!
